This week year 8 were out in Newcastle talking to members of the public about language in everyday contexts as part of their `World Around Us` topic in English. They also went to the Discovery Museum to look at the Newcastle through the Ages exhibit.
In our KS3 assembly this week we welcomed Kooth who talked about the services they offer young people to support their mental health.

It`s been a very busy week this week.
We had the wonderful @stony_pasture visit our KS2 pupils. Despite the weather they had a fab time with the Llamas, learning about them and walking them.
We also had the amazing @mandmtheatrical perform Beauty and the Beast for the whole school.
Finally, Friday was a staff training day and as part of it we had a bake off. Well done to all those taking part.

It`s been a fantastic start to the new term, as well as the excitement of the snow, everyone has been getting back into lessons.
Year 5 Food Technology have been making apple tarts - which have made the corridors smell wonderful.
Year 5 Design Technology have been investigating Pop Art and unleashing their creativity.
