Mrs Whitmell has been awarded a Crest Teacher Recognition Award. This has been awarded by the British Science Association for the hard work supporting students whilst they work towards their Crest Award. We are pleased to announce that the school science department has been awarded the Gold Quality mark as recognition of all the excellent learning taking place within school.
Children's author E. R. Reilly visited school today to do a book signing. The students were delighted to receive their signed books. In the photographs above you can see some of the children showing their signed books.
The school was fortunate enough to have a visit by author E.R Reilly. He did an hour long assembly with the whole school where he told stories. All of the children really enjoyed the visit.
